Framo Morat at SPS 2026
From November 24 to 26, 2026, Framo Morat will present its broad range of gear and drive technology solutions at SPS in Nuremberg. In Hall 1, Booth 350, we will showcase, among other things, drive solutions for humanoid robots, curved stairlifts, and intralogistics applications, most of which have been individually developed to meet our customers’ specific requirements and successfully brought into series production. Interactive demonstrators and functional models showcase the gearbox concepts and demonstrate their applications.
Drive solutions for humanoid robots
Fingers, grippers and joints place different requirements on installation space, gear ratio and torque. Visitors can interact with a robot animation to explore suitable gearbox concepts for different applications and gain a deeper understanding through 3D animations and physical demonstrators.
Taking the respective areas of application into account, we compare worm gearsets, our proprietary speeroX gearing technology, custom cycloidal and planetary gearboxes, as well as multi-stage gearboxes that combine the advantages of the various technologies.
Drive systems for curved stairlifts: Comparing four generations
For more than 25 years, we have been developing and manufacturing drive systems for curved stairlifts for our long-standing customer TKE. This success story is one of many examples of how we work closely with our customers in a spirit of partnership, continuously optimizing and further developing drive systems across multiple product generations.
We will showcase and compare the four generations of stairlift drive systems and their technical features at our trade fair booth. In addition, a powered trade fair model demonstrates the functionality of the complex 3-axis drive system, which combines the main drive, seat swivel drive, and tilt correction drive into a safe, low-noise and efficient overall system.
Drive and steering systems for intralogistics
For the automated loading and unloading of trucks, we will showcase a compact, customer-specific drive and steering unit. It is designed for a load capacity of up to 900 kg per wheel. The drive system delivers up to 375 Nm of torque, while the steering drive provides up to 100 Nm. This also makes it possible to turn on the spot and drive up steep ramps.
Additional drive solutions for intralogistics include wheel hub gears for automated guided vehicles (AGVs), as well as drive systems for warehouse shuttles, lifting modules, and industrial trucks.
From production to assembly
Using an assembly consisting largely of plastic components and a metal coupling housing, which undergoes numerous gear machining operations in our in-house production, we also provide insights into our manufacturing and assembly expertise. Additional videos showcase the manufacturing technologies, processes and quality checks at our production sites in Germany, Poland and Mexico.
Visit us in Hall 1, Booth 350. We look forward to discussing your requirements in person. Appointments can be scheduled in advance via our online form. We look forward to your visit.
