Nowa Ruda, 1 July 2025. Exactly ten years ago today, Framo Morat Polska commenced assembly of its first drive systems in Nowa Ruda. Since then, the company has developed into a strategically important site within the Franz Morat Group. Today, the plant houses around 40 project-specific assembly lines producing a broad range of drive solutions: from partially and pre-assembled modules to standardised gearbox units and fully operational complete drives, including motor and control systems.

Technological progress never stands still – and the same applies to our machinery fleet. To meet the increasing demands for precision, efficiency, and production depth, we consistently invest in new manufacturing technologies and future-proof solutions. Two recent acquisitions are particularly noteworthy.

In modern medical technology, drive systems must meet the highest demands. In addition to strict safety and hygiene standards, they must also be compact enough to fit into the often limited space within medical devices. For example, to enable surgical robots to perform dynamic movements, a high power density with clever spatial arrangement is essential. Abrasive wear that could increase backlash is unacceptable – this is the only way to achieve the high precision required.
