Drive solutions for intralogistics: Framo Morat at LogiMAT 2026

When storage density, throughput, and efficiency become decisive competitive advantages, well-engineered drive technology is essential. From 24 to 26 March 2026, Framo Morat will present powerful drive solutions for all market segments of modern intralogistics at LogiMAT in Stuttgart in Hall 8 at Booth C01. Our portfolio ranges from highly integrated drive systems and compact hub gear platforms to precise gearing components.

Driverless Transport Systems

Internal material transport is becoming increasingly autonomous and flexible. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) are therefore playing a central role in intralogistics. They must ensure long operating times, high payloads, and precise motion sequences – while maintaining a compact installation space. Framo Morat specifically addresses these requirements with its proven hub gear platform as well as with customised drive systems.

Current highlights:

  • Customised drive system for the new generation of the Filics Unit, an AMR for floor-based pallet transport consisting of two physically separate robotic skids
  • High-performance, ultra-compact MID15 (Gen 2) wheel hub drive from Schabmüller for low-profile AGVs/AMRs
  • Highly integrated RNA250 wheel hub drive for the CR700C/D cleaning robot from Adlatus
  • Standardised traction drives based on the NG500 with application-specific payload capacity in cooperation with Dunkermotoren, e.g. for the iw.hub from idealworks (pallet transport) or the Open Shuttle from KNAPP (KLT transport)

Warehouse Technology

In modern warehouse systems, countless movements take place simultaneously. Shuttles, stacker cranes, and lifting modules must operate quickly, precisely, and reliably over the long term. Precise gearing components, robust gearboxes, or complete drive systems that can be flexibly adapted to different requirements are essential. Framo Morat offers the right drive solution for each of these movements.

Current highlights:

  • Highly integrated, customised satellite vehicle drive for micro-fulfilment centres
  • Customised safety gate drives based on the Compacta for automated high-bay warehouses
  • Modular rack and pinion systems for gripping movements in pallet racking systems

Industrial Trucks

Gear motors or drive-steering systems in industrial trucks such as high-lift pallet trucks or electric forklifts are exposed to high forces and continuous loads. At the same time, omnidirectional driving is becoming increasingly important – drive units must therefore ensure high manoeuvrability within minimal installation space while providing smooth operation to guarantee reliable and comfortable performance.

Current highlights:

  • Customised motor shafts for universal BLDC motors used by numerous industrial truck manufacturers
  • Compact drive-steering system based on speeroX for electric forklifts and high-lift pallet trucks
  • Planetary steering gearbox with reinforced bearings for three-wheel forklifts

Continuous Conveyors

Automated material flows are the backbone of modern logistics. Continuous conveyors must move goods reliably, quietly, and efficiently – often over long distances and in continuous operation. High cost-effectiveness is just as important as a robust design. Framo Morat therefore offers conveyor rollers with integrated planetary gearboxes, modular belt drives, and application-specific gearbox units that ensure continuous and efficient motion sequences.

Current highlights:

  • Low-noise, precise planetary gearboxes for drum motors from Interroll
  • Gearbox units based on speeroX for operation in a single conveying direction
  • Robust gearbox system for belt applications in reversing conveyor systems

Cranes, Hoists and Mobile Lifting Systems

Vertical movements are becoming increasingly important in intralogistics. Cranes, hoists, and mobile lifting systems must lift, move, and position loads safely – often in combination with automated storage or conveyor systems. Reliable, robust, and proven drive solutions are essential here.

Current highlights:

  • Lifting mechanism based on a Compacta linear chain combination for the AMR KARIS® from GEBHARDT Fördertechnik
  • Spur gearboxes based on a modular system for industrial cranes, chain hoists, and wire rope hoists
  • Worm gear sets in screw jack gear units for industrial lifting applications from Neff
