Framo Morat Polska Officially Inaugurates Expansion Project

The expansion project at Framo Morat Polska was officially inaugurated last week during the Franz Morat Group’s shareholders’ meeting. With a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, the shareholders and members of the advisory board officially opened the new facility for operations.

Expansion of Assembly Capacity to Support Further Growth

With the completion of the expansion, the Franz Morat Group is sustainably strengthening its Polish facility in Nowa Ruda and creating additional manufacturing capacity for its Drive Technology division. Eleven years after production began on July 1, 2015, Framo Morat Polska now has a total production area of approximately 4,300 m².

As a production facility specializing in gearbox assembly, the plant’s 70 employees now manufacture a wide range of drive solutions for customers across a variety of industrial sectors. These include partially and pre-assembled components, subsystems, and standardized gearbox units, as well as custom-designed complete drive systems that include motors and control systems. Product-specific, fully traceable intermediate and final inspections ensure that the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the entire assembly process. This commitment to quality is reinforced by ISO 9001 certification.

Strengthening the International Production Network

With its expanded production and logistics facilities, Framo Morat Polska is laying the groundwork for further growth and the successful implementation of new customer projects. At the same time, this investment underscores the long-term importance of the site within the Franz Morat Group’s international production network and strengthens its capacity for the future.
