Franz Morat Group reports record revenue
The Franz Morat Group achieved record revenue once again in the previous fiscal year of 2023 despite weakening economic activity. At around 114 million euros, sales came in about 8% higher than in the previous year. Managing Director Gökhan Balkis considers this a satisfying result in light of the current geopolitical and economic backdrops, even if revenue was a little less than 5% below target.
Managing Director Gökhan Balkis predicts that 2024 will be a year of numerous challenges for the German industry. Balkis cites multiple primary causes: increasing wages, rising energy costs, the budget crisis, geopolitical tensions, and the continually arising crises worldwide.
Franz Morat Group puts its own solar park into operation
With the commissioning of the new solar park, the Franz Morat Group is taking an important step towards sustainability. The ground-mounted PV system at the Eisenbach headquarters is not only a milestone for the company, but also an enrichment for the community of Eisenbach and the region.

Organizational change at Franz Morat Group: Framo Morat acquires industrial business from F. Morat
As part of an organizational change, the Franz Morat Group is further emphasizing the industry focus of both Framo Morat and F. Morat. In this regard, Framo Morat, a leading company in the machining production of gears and the development and manufacturing of custom drive systems, will acquire the complete industrial business of plastic injection molding specialist F. Morat. The implementation will take effect on January 01, 2024.
Franz Morat Group builds training center at new plant / Additional expansion of floor space planned at company headquarters
EISENBACH, Germany. The Franz Morat Group has moved into a new plant in Eisenbach, Germany, across the street from its headquarters on the high plains of the Höchst. The building was already acquired by the company Grieshaber Feinmechanik in 2018. Due to the expansion, the names of all the plants in Eisenbach have been extended. The name of the Framo Morat production facility carries the add-on Plant 1, while F. Morat received the add-on Plant 2.
Framo Morat, Inc. moves into new company building in Duluth, Georgia
Framo Morat, Inc. has relocated its sales office to Duluth, GA and moved into a 700 m² area of a modern building complex. The new business premises are divided into approx. 250 m² of office space, 100 m² for repair & service and 350 m² for warehousing and logistics.
