“Bringing Automation to Life” is the motto of SPS 2025, which will take place in Nuremberg from November 25 to 27, 2025. In line with this focus, Framo Morat will be presenting gear components, transmission components, and electromechanical drive systems that are driving progress in industrial automation at booth 350 in hall 1. With our comprehensive range of products, technologies, and development services, we offer our customers customized solutions that meet the specific requirements of their respective areas of application.
Experience speeroX live – the highly compact bevel gear set in steel and plastic
High transmission ratio, but little space for an angular gear? Get excited about the latest developments in our speeroX gear technology, which impresses in a wide variety of applications. With the speeroX gear set, the center distance can be halved compared to worm or helical gear sets. This creates installation space advantages without having to sacrifice the wide transmission range. While the upper transmission limit for classic bevel gear sets is around 6, requiring additional gear stages if necessary, speeroX technology covers transmission ratios from 4 to 50. And the speeroX world is growing: in addition to the steel-steel pairing, the metal-plastic pairing is now also available.
Bastian Gloeden is a development engineer who has specialized in gear design since 2017. In his presentation, he will address the key technical points and compare speeroX with classic solutions in the world of gearboxes. The possible applications of speeroX will be illustrated with the help of current, concrete insights from practical experience.
Join us live for the presentation “speeroX – the highly compact angular gear set in steel and plastic” on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 2:20 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. on Stage 1, right next to our booth in Hall 1 | Booth 350.
Afterwards, we cordially invite you to join us for refreshments and Black Forest snacks at our booth. We look forward to continuing our discussions with you in a relaxed atmosphere.
Drive for intralogistics: Double skid system from Filics and new hub gear size
Our hub gear platform, specially developed for autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and driverless transport systems (AGV), has been expanded: The new NG750 expands the proven NG250 and NG500 sizes and enables radial loads of up to 750 kg per wheel. All platform hub gears are available in different gear ratios in single or two-stage versions with PUR wheels. Standardized flanges allow direct motor mounting. In addition, the hub gearboxes impress with their compact design, easy wheel change and a service life of up to 30,000 hours. Customer-specific options, such as brush seals for outdoor use or toothed belt drives for high-bay warehouses, can be flexibly implemented.
We also offer the innovative double skid system from Filics, which was developed specifically for the compact and efficient transport of Euro pallets and disappears almost completely under the load. Thanks to its omnidirectional drive, the Filics Unit can move pallets in any direction, eliminating the need for maneuvering and enabling the automation of floor block storage and FiFo buffers while increasing storage capacity. The Filics Unit uses our ultra-compact drive systems, which were developed specifically for this application. They achieve a total lifting weight of 800 kg and a travel speed of up to 1.2 m/s.
Your idea – our drive: Tailor-made drive solutions for industrial applications
This year, customized drive systems for a wide range of industries will once again be the focus of our trade fair presentation. One example is the drive system for curved stairlifts developed in collaboration with TK Home Solutions, which we are now manufacturing in its fourth generation and continuously optimizing. The slip-on worm gear motors of the Compacta series demonstrate the flexibility of our electromechanical drives. Numerous standard variants are available at short notice, while individual adaptations can be implemented quickly and flexibly thanks to the modular system. This is the case, for example, in the semiconductor industry, where modified Compacta drives are used to open and close heavy covers on vacuum chambers in wafer production.
Other customer-specific drive solutions for sensitive manufacturing processes in clean rooms include linear drives for lifting the covers of lithography machines, swivel and lifting drives for reliable and low-particle control of vacuum valve locks, and compact wheel hub gears for transport by autonomous robots.
In addition, our gear components are used in numerous other industries – from medical technology and pump and dosing technology to agricultural, air conditioning, and food technology. Examples include helical gearheads for food cutting machines from Graef, speeroX gearheads for surgical robots from maxon, worm gears for packaging automation from Ruhrgetriebe, and drives for belt conveyor systems from WEG, which enable precise and energy-efficient motion sequences. We look forward to your visit: Because the best solutions arise from conversation.
Visit us at SPS 2025 in Nuremberg at our booth 350 in hall 1 and let’s talk about your application over a good cup of coffee – and about how your individual requirements can be implemented with our drive solutions.
