Gear technology is our specialty: We have been manufacturing gears with internal and external teeth, rotor shafts, pinions, and sprockets in addition to numerous specialty solutions according to our customers’ specifications for more than 110 years. Depending on the specific requirements, we utilize a wide variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, various non-ferrous metals, and synthetics.

By manufacturing more than one million worm gear sets per year, Framo Morat is one of the leaders in this market. In addition to our standard series, we also offer custom solutions that are manufactured from a wide variety of materials with diameters from 15 to 300 mm and center distances from 17 to 150 mm, depending on requirements.

With the newly developed speeroX wheel set from Framo Morat, high gear ratios and a power flow around the corner can be achieved in just one stage. In the right application, for example when only one direction of rotation is required, the speeroX gear set beats conventional multi-stage gears in terms of the gear ratio. It is quiet and features high efficiency with a long service life. Compared to single-stage gears, the speeroX gear set impresses with its compact design.

We process both technical thermoplastics, including various fillers and reinforcing materials, as well as the high-temperature-resistant material PEEK. The combination of plastic and metal often creates advantages that the respective material group cannot offer on its own. We are also your reliable partner for housing parts with complex geometries, delicate sealing elements, tiny bearings or multi-component technology.
