Organizational change at Franz Morat Group: Framo Morat acquires industrial business from F. Morat

[Eisenbach, June 14, 2023] – Franz Morat Group has announced an organizational change aimed at further emphasizing the industry focus of both Framo Morat and F. Morat. In this regard, Framo Morat, a leading company in the machining production of gears and the development and manufacturing of custom drive systems, will acquire the complete industrial business of plastic injection molding specialist F. Morat. The implementation will take effect on January 01, 2024.

Through the full integration of F. Morat’s industrial business, Framo Morat will expand its capabilities in plastic injection molding technology, enabling them to offer customers an even more comprehensive range of products, technologies, and development services. Framo Morat’s target markets include not only traditional machinery and plant engineering but also the rehabilitation and medical device technology, intralogistics, automation and robotics, as well as energy and agricultural technology sectors.

F. Morat will focus its expertise in gear and component technology specifically on the automotive sector, implementing industry-specific and efficient sales, development, and production processes. Automation levels will be increased.

“The industry-oriented market strategy will allow both companies to concentrate more on the specific requirements of their target markets, in the best interest of our customers,” says Gökhan Balkis, CEO of the Franz Morat Group. “All employees will continue to be employed within the company group,” adds Balkis.

In order to meet the diverse demands of industrial and automotive customers, the production areas will be redesigned accordingly. This will enable a targeted alignment of all processes with the specific needs of each industry. Both companies will maintain their high quality standards. Framo Morat is certified according to ISO 9001, while F. Morat remains certified to IATF 16949.
