Compacta slip-on geared motors with integrated automated switching are ideal drives for applications in reversing mode. Due to its compact design, the Compacta series is ideal for applications with limited space.

A series of gearboxes based on Compacta has been specially designed for drives that power above-ground swimming pool covers. These gears operate with 24 V DC and generate torques between 60 and 250 Nm. The covers are usually made from buoyant lamella that are pushed or pulled over the surface of the water. A coiling drum powered by a Compacta rolls and unrolls the lamella.

For underground pool covers, Framo Morat collaborated with a respected pool manufacturer to develop PoolCoverDrive. A high-quality double-wall stainless steel casing provides maximum durability against chlorine and seawater and long-term protection against leaks down to a depth of 2.5 m. Before delivery, each drive is subjected to a 100% leak test in our own test facility developed for this purpose!
