As a repeat exhibitor, Framo Moratwill welcome visitors at the 20th edition of LogiMAT from April 25, 2023 – April 27, 2023 in Stuttgart,Germany. With an exhibition area of 120,000 m² and more than 1,600 international exhibitors, LogiMAT is the largest trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management in Europe. The trade fair provides a complete market overview of everything that moves the intralogistics sector – from procurement to production and delivery.
Trade fair highlights: Highly integrated wheel hub drives & platform hub gearboxes
The highly integrated wheel hub drives from Framo Morat are used as drive units in a wide variety of intralogistics applications. Other sectors are of course also working toward effective automation. One of these sectors is the cleaning industry. Because fully automated cleaning robots have to navigate their surroundings and do this safely, the challenges for these drive units are very similar to those of the mobile robots in intralogistics.
Framo Morat wheel hub drives satisfy this profile of requirements. They combine all the functional elements in one all-inclusive solution – including the PUR wheel, a high-precision planetary gear in 1- or 2-stage design, a high-performance BLDC motor, and the holding brake and electronics. The wheel hub drives are used, for example, in the CR700 cleaning robot from Adlatus, which will be one of the big highlights at both the Framo Morat booth (Hall 6 – Booth C02) and the Adlatus booth (Hall 10 – Booth B59) at LogiMAT.
In addition to wheel hub drives, Framo Morat is also bringing the NG250 and NG500 platform hub gearboxes to the trade fair. For quick setup, both hub gearboxes are available in a 1- or 2-stage design with the polyurethane wheel. Standardized flanges make it possible to connect most motors directly to the hub gearboxes. This enables even higher availability and more flexibility. Customer-specific adaptations can be accommodated, such as a brush seal for outdoor applications or a toothed belt for use in high-bay warehouses.
The hub gearbox has already proven itself in numerous automated guided vehicles. An outstanding example of this arose out of a joint project, which Dunkermotoren will be presenting at LogiMat (Hall 7 – Booth B09). The Open Shuttle from KNAPP is equipped with an NG500 hub gearbox in conjunction with the BG 75 BLDC motor with a built-in brake and two encoder systems.
Diverse array of products & industry expertise for intralogistics
At our trade fair booth, you can also look forward to a wide array of drive components and systems for intralogistics. To mention just a few: rotor shafts for electric motors of industrial trucks, Compacta series gear motors for gate drives in automated high-bay warehouses, planetary gears for drum motors, spindle lifting gears for cranes and lift trucks, and customer-specific drive systems for electric pallet stackers based on our proprietary, high-transmission speeroX gears.
