Green light for training at Franz Morat Group

Franz Morat Group is welcoming eleven new trainees and students this year. The group with over 100 years of company history offers young people the opportunity to experience a broad spectrum of different professional fields. Currently, a total of 50 trainees and students are being introduced to professional life in eight trades and five courses of study.

“A good education paves the way for a successful career. For this reason, training young professionals is an important tradition for our company. The quality of the training is reflected in the excellent performance of our trainees and students,” says Kevin Maier, HR team leader for the Franz Morat Group.

On August 17, 2015, five young individuals began their training at Framo Morat, a specialist in metal processing and the development and production of complete drive systems. For Alexander Saar, Andreas Bach, Simon Kleiser, Abbas Nehme and Matthias Faller, this marked the beginning of their training to become industrial mechanics. The latter, Matthias Faller, first completed a two-year industrial technician training program at the Eisenbach location as a part of his Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics dual study program. The knowledge gained during his university studies over the course of two-and-a-half years will be deepened at the University of Applied Sciences in Furtwangen, Germany. On September 1, 2015, Anil Kul and Silvan Sanna began their process mechanics training at the plastics specialist F. Morat while Dominik Axt started his apprenticeship as a tool and die maker.

October 1 marked the starting point for these three students. Jonas Hammerschmidt and Aaron Faller are beginning their university studies for their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University in Lörrach, Germany, while Sascha Waldvogel is enrolled in a Bachelor of Industrial Arts program at the DHBW in Schwenningen, Germany. At the beginning of their training and studies, the focus is on getting to know all of the trainees and students. For this purpose, all of the newcomers, trainees and students as well as some of our more experienced team members took a day trip to AUMA Riester GmbH & Co. KG in Müllheim, Germany, a joint customer for both companies. The follow-up archery workshop was used as a way to promote team spirit. Here, the more experienced employees provided newcomers with helpful information about training and studies at Franz Morat Group in a relaxed atmosphere.
