Our in-house mold & tool making is an important part of our success. With state-of-the-art technology and an experienced team, we are continuously expanding our expertise in precision injection molding. Close coordination between tool making, development and production guarantees smooth, efficient processes and ultimately ensures optimal implementation of customer projects.

In our sample production, we rely on maximum precision through the analysis of measurement data as well as through computer tomography and optical inspections. With our modern machinery, which includes CAD/CAM systems, CNC lathes and milling machines, 5-axis milling centers and wire and sinker EDM machines, we offer a wide range of services. The flexibility of our range of services is reflected in the tool sizes, which range from 156 × 156 to 796 × 796 mm.

Thanks to our in-house production, we can react to new requirements quickly during the sampling phase and when changes occur and perform maintenance efficiently. We also service around 500 tools every year to ensure they function optimally.

Grob 5-axis milling machine, horizontal – G350

The G350 5-axis universal machining center with horizontal milling spindle and flexible tool magazine offers a high-precision solution for tool making. Equipped with the latest technology, it allows us to machine complex workpieces with maximum precision in various materials. Thanks to the horizontal design and the tunnel concept, the G350 enables precise machining, even with large workpieces, and offers a high degree of flexibility for demanding milling applications.

ZK simply genius 700

Our ZK simply genius machine is used for fully automated EDM. Connecting it to a robot allows automatic changeover for the 60 electrodes and six workpieces. In addition, the machine is equipped with a palletizing system from Partool.

The machine is used for eroding mold inserts for injection molds. Up to 64 cavities, with minimal scattering, are inserted per mold. A key focus is on the EDM of helical gears (C/Z EDM) for mold inserts of injection molds, where the electrode and workpiece changeover is automated.

Mitutoyo measuring machine I CRYSTA-APEX S

In the dynamic world of plastics and metal processing, the demands on measurement technology are constantly increasing. The 3D coordinate measuring machines of the CRYSTA-Apex S series from Mitutoyo offer a comprehensive solution for meeting these challenges. Precise, fast, flexible measurements are crucial for efficient production processes. Thanks to their sophisticated design principle and integrated thermal error compensation, they guarantee precise measurement results, even under variable conditions.

RS 600C CNC cylindrical grinding machine

Our RS 600C CNC cylindrical grinding machine is used for both external grinding and internal grinding. Due to the small batch sizes in mold making, this machine’s short retooling times offer a huge advantage. The intuitive programming is a big benefit when changing parts.

The machine is used for grinding fittings for injection molds. It is able to grind parts with diameters from 0.5 mm to 280 mm. The ability to apply virtually any contour to the grinding disks makes it possible to transfer that same contour to the workpiece.

AGIE 150 HSS wire EDM machine

The AGIE 150 HSS wire EDM machine boasts very high repeat accuracy of the geometries. Thanks to the special wire guide that is no longer available on machines today, it can produce conical cuts of up to 28°. It can generate surfaces with a texture down to Ra 0.3 and corner radii of 0.07 mm.

The machine is used for producing mold inserts for injection molds, especially for gear sets. Almost all the gears that we have used in injection molding over the last 20 years have been produced on this machine.

DMG Mori lathe

The DMG Mori lathe is ideal for tool making, delivers extremely accurate results, works efficiently and quickly thanks to powerful spindles and offers a wide range of machining options. In addition, the integrated tool measurement feature ensures maximum accuracy and optimal results.
